Also accounting for my fascination and bias towards Rolls Royce as a company, it doesn't get any better than this. If you want to know in detail of how an airplane's engine work and what all innovations in design have been implemented throughout the years, this is the one!!! Not to mention the super high quality photos and just the whole physical feel of the book is a good enough reason to get this book than any other.

As an Aeronautical Engineer, i must say, this is by far one of the most sophisticated and detailed book or i must say 'encyclopedia' on jet engines. Also accounting for my fascination and bias towards Rolls Royce as a company, it doesn't get any better than this.
