Frigidaire STACKIT4X Laundry Stacking Kit for Frigidaire Affinity Front-Load Washers and Dryers

I’m giving this 4 stars because it was the cheapest option, and did exactly what it’s supposed to do, BUT the instructions were confusing and time was wasted while we tried to figure it out. We actually ordered a second (replacement) kit thinking the first kit was missing something, and then found out it wasn’t, but the instructions refer to adhesives that are not color coded the same way.Here’s what you need to know:The “blue adhesive strips” are actually white and clear - their purpose is simply to keep the dryer casing from scratching the top of the washer casing.The “red” adhesive is actually blue, and does not come attached to the dryer bracket (but it’s double sided tape, so you can just stick it on there no problem). If someone had written these instructions with the correct labels, this kit would have deserved 5 stars and the installation would have taken 5 minutes.I have a frigidaire affinity set that’s roughly 5-6 years old. Super happy to have them stacked in my new dual function laundry/pantry!

You may think there are pieces missing but they are not. Easy to assemble and works great

This stacking kit worked perfectly and enabled us to keep our existing washer and dryer by stacking what we have instead of having to buy new! We are diy'ers and are in the middle of remodeling our small laundry room and wanted to gain some space in there by having a stacking washer and dryer. Problem was, we like what we already have and it works so it was hard to justify a new purchase. We were so happy to see that Amazon carries and washer/dryer stacking kit for our washer and dryer model, and for around $30 we figured we'd give it a try. We are delighted to find that the stacking kit works great and saved us money.

The instructions in the kit says that there should be two strings of double sided blue tape and a string of double sided red tape attached to the front bar. Instead, the kit comes with only one strip of blue tape, to be used on the front bar, and two strings of regular transparent tape to be attached on top of the washing machine to avoid scratches. This is confusing while trying to follow the instructions. I tried to call the numbers that they provide for assistance but the operators told that they had no idea what I was talking about - that they don't sell the kit. Whose number they provided for support is a mistery, shady at the least. The rest of the kit is two brackets and six screws. Overall, 30$ for this is way overpriced. Two stars because after a lot of thinking and reading other people's reviews I figured it out instead of having to return it. Now I have to test and I hope the dryer will not fall down.

This does work and it keeps the dryer from shaking all over. We have very tight fitting built in's so it was important that we keep the shaking at a bare minimum. What I do not like is if you need to unstack (which we did) the kit only comes with one piece of tape so you have to find and replace the tape yourself or repurchase the kit. In my opinion there should be a couple strips of tape for the price that's charged. I'm giving 4-stars because the product itself works well, it's just expensive without any backup tape.

All pieces were accounted for in the kit. The one thing that never made sense to me was the clear adhesive, it isn’t dual sided. What’s the point of putting a thing adhesive strip down on the washer, when there’s no sticky side that would agree to the dryer? So glad to get my dryer stacked and back working again.

This stacking kit was exactly what we needed for our washing machine and dryer. The instructions werent the easiest to understand, but my husband was able to get it all together in about 15 minutes. A great purchase for our little house.

this was for the 27 inch affinity fridgidaire washer and dryer set. If your washer has a design on the side that appears to be an 0 in the middle with two l on each side and my dryer had lll on it's side, it should work. It is hardly nothing to the kit, can't believe it was so expensive. However, it was easy to install, just do not let the color system it is referencing in the instructions throw you. My kit was blue and white not red and blue like the instruction on the adhesive strips, but you can tell which goes where. I really like the additional space in the laundry room.

I triple check that those where compatible with my Affinity Washers and Dryers and took measurements before buying. I think if it's writing "Affinity " on your machine you are good. The instructions are clear but not perfect. Not hard to install. You need second person to lift it up. There is some double side and transparent tape to protect against scratches.

Package arrived open - metal bar did not have adhesive as per instruction nor red tape. The tapes for the lateral sides did were not in the package (only the wrappers) as if somebody had received a return item - that someone already used partially. The rear clips fit the back of the dryer, yet the screws do not fit the holes.

It seemed to be for a smaller dryer even though we used the model number to search but it did work with a little effort.

Aside from the plastics strips not appearing as described in the instructions, the kit worked great. Very easy to install - no special skills required, just muscle to stack the dryer.
