Great looking and easy saltwater meter
This was easy to use and works great. It will explain were it should read for a fish tank or a reef tank. This is for saltwater tank only

Good for what it does.
These are pretty accurate if you need to take a quick ballpark measurement and don't have the time to work a more precise device.You ABSOLUTELY need to "season the needle" by soaking it in 35ppt salinity water. Before I seasoned it, the needle showed 1ppt higher reading, which is probably why some people think it's inaccurate.The scale marking are excellent, actually and they even put in a bubble remover on the intake.

Seems good was worth the price
Easy to use and seems to work. Whether or not its really accurate is unknown to me as im not familiar with salt water. Im using it for trying to create water conditions for amano zoes. Some things to know when using this is that the instructions say you should let it sit with salt water for 24hrs before doing the actual test. Also once its ready for testing you should kind of smack the bottom to the floor somewhere soft not hard. Learned it off youtube and it seems to get the dial to move properly otherwise the dial just shoots straight up.

Inaccurate and not worth the Money
highly inaccurate. I bought 5 gallons of salt water for my aquarium from a tropical store, tested with this unit and is was way off. Save you money and buy the refractometer.

The Coralife Aquarium Fish Tank Deep Six Hydrometer is an affordable option for measuring salinity, but it's definitely a "you get what you pay for" kind of deal. While it’s easy to read and designed for temperature-corrected readings, I found it inconsistent—sometimes giving me two different measurements back-to-back. You also have to tap it on a hard surface to get a more accurate reading, which isn’t ideal. Plus, dipping it in the tank means dripping water all over the place. For a budget tool, it does the job, but I’ve since upgraded to a refractometer, which is much more accurate and hassle-free. If you're serious about precise readings, it's worth spending a bit more.
