Fairly accurate. Battery seems to last for ages. Would be nice if you could just buy one at half the price. Overall happy

Whilst I am under no illusion that these will be up to stringent scientific accuracy, this double pack of hygrometer and thermometer readers are just what I need for growing young Nepenthes carnivorous plants. They arrived with the battery inserted, and switched on which is my only criticism (I've no idea how long they had been in storage, etc., so battery may well be depleted somewhat). However, time will tell and if they don't last long, I will come back and edit the review.The probe is approximately an inch or two long, and the wire from the probe to the unit is a good length too (longer than what I need, but better that way than too short). The digital face is big enough for me to see from a distance the humidity level and the temperature.For the price this is just what I needed. I can therefore highly recommend them to you.

For what they cost, I wasn't expecting too much from these, but they've surprised me. I purchased them to go in my vivarium with my hognose. Firstly, there are two in the pack, which is ideal for measuring the temperature and humidity at both the hot and cool sides. Secondly, as other reviwers have said they are on when you open the box, but after a year of use, the batteries are showing no signs of wearing out and the results are still accurate.They are very easy to mount inside the viv, held in place in mine with hot glue and they haven't budged. This is my second purchase, but only because I'm picking up another snake in a few days and not because they're not working. Should my collection grown any further, I'll be coming back to buy more of these

one stopped working only after two days! i've changed the batteries, but it's stuck on 10% humidity and -50°C ! it's a shame, i bought these to track the wet and dry areas of my centipedes enclosure, but one has already given out on me before my centipede has gotten here. awful

Got these to monitor humidity and temperature in the hot and cold ends of a snake enclosure.Brilliant product, and to install we just unpackaged and popped one in either end of the enclosure.Only thing I can think of to make this better is if it was backlit… when the light are out it’s impossible to see unless you shine a flashlight on them, which startles the snake. Although, that’s probably just how we have set them up ( the whole unit is inside the enclosure, not just the sensor)

Absolutely poor quality ,,, not accurate at all ,,, very disappointing
