Overall Cleans Well
Liquid Clay bar works well when used correctly. Use on a wet surface and rinse immediately after doing a small section at a time. Do the whole car this way and it works great. Wash after if needed to get any residue off. Then wax the car. Leaves a clean deep shine on the car. Ignore the negative reviews. Do it one section at a time and you'll be fine.

Best product on the market
This is the easiest product on the market for getting a vehicle "squeaky" clean. It removes any and all oxidation and really cleans up the paint. It actually enhances the color of the paint. Once the car has been cleaned with the Ice Clay Bar, I highly recomend the Ice Wax to complete the job. Best product on the market!!!

Doesn't really work like a real clay bar
Buy the basic conventional clay bar from Wal-Mart which is cheaper and will give you actual results. This just collects dust in my useless auto care graveyard now.

meh.
I ended up with a bottle of this because it came in the ice clay bar kit. I guess if you're looking for a cheap and easy paint cleaner, it does an ok job. However, it doesn't clean the surface nearly as well as a real clay kit or a decent paint cleaner/polishing compound. Personally, I wouldn't waste my time with the liquid clay.

Easy to work with, but be sure to rinse it off
1. The bottle's shape is detrimental to one wet hand gripping and shaking.2. Easy to apply, cleaning power the same as car wash, but need some elbow grease to polish out the light scratch/swirling.3. Rinse it well, preferbly with a microfiber cloth wiping, or you will have white, hard water type residue left on the car. This is a light polishing compound type cleaner. It polish the paint a bit, remove the paint overspray and tree saps by polishing, unlike true Clay bar that remove the stuff by lifting. Results are not as good as claying, but it's easier to work with, just like a hand car wash.

This has become a difficult to find product. It's a great solution for a quick 'clay bar' experience - I use it between the times I use a real clay bar or on cars that aren't in too bad a shape. It does a nice job and is very quick and easy to use.

Great part of a great system
I agree with another reviewer, this product is misunderstood. Many years ago I bought the whole ICE system = Clay bar, Liquid Clay bar, Lubricant and "wax". I followed the directions the first time, learned from that and changed how I clean and protect my car(s) once a year; and have only consumed the clay bar so far. I have a Prius, and now 2 of them. The way I ended up using the products are as follows: 1) Wash the car and towel dry to get most of the dirt and gunk off; 2) clay bar without lubricant -- true uses up the clay bar quicker, but it really pulls the stuff up more easily this way; 3) Apply the Liquid clay bar as a cleaner/polish/wash for the residual clay stuck to the car; 4) wash again with car wash and towel dry thoroughly, then let it air dry for a while; 5) apply the Ice liquid wax. This takes a good part of the day since you go over the whole car 8 times, but the results are amazing and last a whole year. I found using the lubricant required more work for the clay bar to be effective, more rubbing for embedded stuff. I found that applying the Liquid Clay Bar after rubbing down the whole car with the solid clay bar was more effective at removing the residual clay from the surface than just washing alone. The two together really gets the car spectacularly clean for the advanced polymer formula liquid wax, so nothing is waxed over. The result is a showroom new shine/finish. People think I got a new car. Four stars because it isn't necessarily enough by itself, but then, neither is the car wash product, or the solid clay bar.
