Pre de Provence No.63 Men's Collection, Lotion

Great lotion with a great scent. My wife loves it.

The lotion knocked me off my socks! I didn't think the lotion would smell this great. I'm not the type that applies lotion frequently. I'd try it on special occasions and during the winter sometimes if my skin is so dried out. But I'm just not a big fan because I don't want to deal with the stickiness. This lotion absorbs super fast! You can barely tell it's there. Maybe less than a minute or two and no more stickiness. My skin is also sensitive, and it seems to work fine. Upon applying, you could feel the warmth and the robust and masculine spice smell on your skin, and it stays on for a long while! I was on my Memorial Day trip to another city a few weeks ago. I showered at like 8 pm and went bar hopping for a bit. I picked up someone and got to her Airbnb about 3 hours later. We hung out for almost 2 hours before she led me into her bedroom. So that's 5 hours in total, and she kept sniffing my neck and my chest. She wouldn't stop complimenting me on how good I smell! I didn't think I should stay at her place, so I came back to my hotel room with a big grin across my face. I could still smell the lotion after a quick rinse at her place. The aroma wasn't as strong after the wash, but it's there along with the warmth. This is now my go-to lotion. Lol. Not only that, it smells pretty similar to the soap, intertwining, strengthening the scent. It's worth mentioning that you should grab a whole collection if you like one of these products. I would definitely repurchase it and recommend it to anyone new to the world of lotion. The bottle itself, though, is a bit hard to squeeze out. That's the only con for me.

It's got a kind of sickly sweet smell that I associate with some women's perfumes.. I thought this would have a more masculine scent. Wouldn't buy it again. And won't use it on my face anymore as that requires that I have to smell the fragrance. Men would do well to look elsewhere. Women.. well, there are better scents even for ladies. Update - - I originally gave this lotion body wash 2 stars, but my opinion has improved since i first got it.. and that is for 2 reasons. One is that when i first got it i was using it as body lotion instead of soap. Directions on the bottle are somewhat unclear as to what it actually is - body shower soap or lotion! It looks and smells like lotion. However since using it as actual SHOWER SOAP it's improved my opinion. First I like the smell it leaves in my bathroom and it does have somewhat more of a 'masculine' scent than i'd originally given it credit for after using it to wash with, as opposed to just sniffing from the bottle or applying to face and arms (without washing off). One girl who visited me also had a smell of it direct from the bottle and her reaction also was that it was a bit girly or perfumy in its scent. All I can say is that it does seem to be somewhat different after coming out of the shower with it and my opinion has improved a bit. Skin also feels nice and soft. I'd say use less if the scent is too strong for you, and you won't need any cologne afterward - not a problem for me since I don't wear cologne in the first place, short of underarm deodorant. Don't know if I'd buy it again, but I've raised my original 2 stars to a tentative 4. I'd go easy on it too in the shower as it can be a bit strong on more sensitive parts of the skin.

Lotion is what I'd describe as amazing. I was using lubriderm before I bought this, and it worked okay, but I wanted something that smelled good too. I'd used no. 63 shave soap before and I really liked that, so I lucked out when I found out they sold body lotion as well. It hydrates my skin nicely, it doesn't irritate my skin (which is common because I have sensitive skin + eczema), and it smells fantastic! Really nice boozey, spicy, sweet sort of a scent that is similar, but perhaps a little more intense than what I remember the shave soap smelling like. It's good stuff! I do wish the bottle was a bit nicer, for $14, I'd expect something glass or acrylic. But, I guess it's what's inside that justifies the cost.

Well, for the price, it's not worth it. I feel like the price is too high for a lotion that barely has any scent to it. The scent is ok. I'm not sure if anyone is going to know this reference, but it smells like AVON products for men. Its not the greatest smell in the world. And it only stays for like 30min. For the price, I'm sure you can get something better, and in a bigger bottle. It does moisturize your skin, but again, you can get something better for the price. Hope this helps!

Fantastic find. Have been looking for a citrus-woody combination. This will not knock your socks off for it is a very refined, pleasant, subtle and quiet experience. Of course it’s not for everyone, but I like !

This is my favorite masculine scent so far. It smells to me like cedar and high-quality cigars. Very masculine and very pleasing. It's high-quality lotion too -- doesn't feel sticky and lasts a long time. It's a bit pricier than regular store brand lotions but worth every penny if you're a man that uses lotion and doesn't want to smell like lavender and roses.

I wish it came with a bigger bottle.. for its hight price

Nice texture and smell, I keep ordering it all the time for my husband, somehow it matches with his skin very well. Price is fair for this quality. Definitely recommend!
