Cheap, but ok
These get the job done. The back plate on the mirror itself and the ball are metal. The mount is a chrome-like plastic. They're decent for the price out of the box. The screws began to rust within a couple of weeks so you may want to spend a few cents at a hardware store for some better zinc or stainless screws if you want them to look good. Adjustability is a bit of an issue. I couldn't angle the passenger side in far enough to really see where I need to. A little work with a dremel would fix that, and on some vehicles it may not be an issue. It was for me, though. Installation was pretty straightforward. For the money I can't complain too much. Hopefully they hold up for a while. Update: The back of the mirrors have rust spots all over them. The arms seem to be doing OK. Not surprising given the price. You might want to hit these with some clear coat or something when they're new to prevent rust.

Arrived in box, chrome was fine, comes with 2 phillips screws.
Mirror arrived in a cardboard box. The mirror was wrapped in bubble wrap. Two phillips head screws were included. The screws were tucked in the base beneath the black rubber gasket. The base is plastic. The chrome is perfect everywhere there is chrome; However, the 1/8" edge around the mirror and the small ring of material holding the mirror in place is not chrome. Dunno if they crimp this edge and the chrome is dulled or if it's not chrome on purpose. I can live with it. I'm going to fill the base with plastic epoxy to make the whole thing less breakable. The holes on the base are 4-1/16th" apart from center to center.

Nice for the price.
Worked great for our old international scout, they look like it could have come from the factory with them..

Great looking mirror for its price great budget mirror for $14 you cannot beat it seems like it's made out of plastic on the bottom but it looks good can't beat the price compared to like original mirrors for like $70 each can't go wrong buying these for a short-term or long-term definitely buy some more if I need some thank you

The best at being the worst little mirror you can buy
I was disappointed right out of the box. The stem is indeed a cheap and flimsy plastic with an uneven seam running down the middle that probably looks good from 10 feet away but since it is right outside my window, all I know is that it looks like cheap, cheap plastic. Looks aside, I was worried that that cheap plastic stem would break at the slightest bump or even during adjustment... Turns out I had nothing to worry about as the mirror fell out of the drivers side within one freeway mile and the passenger side within 20. Seriously, these were a complete waste of money and time and I could not recommend against them strongly enough. Were they not more expensive to send back than it is worth I would surely do so... But then that is what they hope for is it not? Do your homework and hit up ebay or something for a nice used pair of metal mirrors that have already been on a car a thus surely will last more than a mile. Utterly disappointed.
