Casio Men's GW-M5610-1BJF Solar Digital Multi Band 6 Black Watch, Blacl, Modern Digital

Great watch wish I never got the negative display though.

I had my eye on this G-Shock for a while now, really liked the all black look, minimal colors on the text, atomic clock, and the negative display. The fact that it was a Japanese market item made it a bit more unique, and the price reflected this. They all came from Japanese sellers for close to $200. I kept coming back trying to decide if I really wanted to spend that much on this watch. Well, one cay, I happened to notice in the "other sellers" section, it was listed at $105 from Amazon directly. Unsure how this could possibly be, I decided to pull the trigger anyway and return it if anything looked suspicious. It was not scheduled to be in-stock until April, but was happy to see an update that it was arriving this week. Got it today and am happy to report that the watch is ALMOST everything as advertised. I'm not going to comment on its features, durability, or day-to day usage as that has already been covered elsewhere. I have no doubt that it will meet all expectations in that regard, and if you are a G-shock fan, you will probably be satisfied. It's clearly a genuine G-Shock, it came with all the Casio packaging materials, manuals, warranty card, and metal hexagon tin. Made in Thailand, not China. The watch itself looks and feels great. The only thing that might give some buyers pause is that it's not the GW-M5610-1BJF (indicating Japanese market), rather it's GW-M5610-1BCR (indicating worldwide market). My suspicion is that Casio recently released this model to be available in the US, which is how Amazon got the ability to sell it directly. It now retails for $140, which is less than you would have paid for a JDM model, but is still more than many similar 5610s. So all in all, I'm happy with the watch. The negative LCD is not that difficult for me to read, in fact, when held at the correct angle, it's extremely legible. The size is perfect, it feels great - light but substantial (if that makes sense). Sure it's not the Japanese version of the watch, but that doesn't matter to me nearly as much to me as it being about half the cost. However, if you really want the BJF model, you probably still need to get it from a 3rd party seller.

まず、最大の長所はメンテナンスフリーなところです。 ソーラー電波なので、充電不要と正確な時刻というのは当然なのですが、それに付け加えてとにかく丈夫です。 日常生活で、落としてもぶつけても傷や凹みは今のところありません。本当に丈夫です。 それに、防水ですので汚れたらすぐに水洗いができ、キレイな状態を保てます。衛生的でもありますね。 次に軽い。つけていて負荷がかかりません。 いいところは他にもありますが、それよりは購入を考えられている方が気になっている（と私が身勝手に思っている）懸念点について言及しておきます。 懸念点としてあげられる反転液晶も、個人的にはそれほど見にくいとは思いませんでした。 暗闇でもバックライトがあるので問題なく見えますよ。 このように性能ばっちりの腕時計ですので、デザインが気に入ればコスパ最高の腕時計だと思います。 私はデザインがとても気に入っていますので、本当にそう思っています。

Definitivamente lo recomiendo. Me encantó. Este reloj lo compré para no batallar con los cambios de baterías y aparte tiene una función automática(LT) para que la luz se encienda automáticamente en cuanto giras la muñeca hacia tu cara. Puedes ajustar la duración de la luz para que dure uno o tres segundos encendida. Es un modelo discreto, ligero, resistente y funcional. Definitivamente es el que usaré de batalla. Viene muy bien empacado y me llegó en un par de días.

Been wearing it daily in a factory setting for over 4 years now, and you couldn’t tell by the wear and tear. The 6 band function means it’s synced with my company’s computers which is a great feature. Comfortable and love the negative display. Cant say enough nice things about it

El reloj es una buena opción para tener de colección, desgraciadamente la pantalla negativa no se logra percibir bien en un lugar cerrado o con poca luz, al aire libre se ve maravilloso, que es para lo que está diseñado; el contacto directo con la luz, ahí la pantalla negativa adquiere una belleza que depende el gusto de cada uno si le es agradable o no. Aunque le cuesta trabajo recibir la señal (yo vivo en el estado de México) me imagino que alguien más al norte del país se le hará menos complicado el proceso de recibir la información. A simple vista se aprecia más delgado y pequeño que otros g shock, yo tengo el clásico dw5600 ya con varios años de uso rudo y en la foto puede verse como se aprecia más pequeño este GW La iluminación efectivamente no es El Electroluminescent, el percibir el foquito que enciende y da luz le quita la belleza al reloj, pero me imagino que es debido al módulo con el que está diseñado este reloj, me parece que el módulo que tiene la luz EL es de otro año de fabricación, puedo estar equivocado en este dato pero el que me tocó a mí tiene esa luz que veo en las reseñas a muchos les incomoda. La calidad de la resina se siente bien al tacto, tiene una sensación más suave a la que recuerdo de otros g shock, no es premium pero por el precio es un gusto al tacto. La parte trasera no tiene ningún fallo y ya tiene contacto con el reloj, me hace pensar que este diseño de la tapa trasera le ayuda a tener un mejor agarre a la muñeca, lo que lo hace sentir más pequeño, y con los normales o como el gw5000 que tiene tapa roscada genera esa sensación de brusquedad. Yo estoy encantado con el reloj, y por el precio al que lo encontré (1900 aprox), no lo duden y agregenlo a su colección
