Miquelrius 8 Subject Medium Spiral Notebook, College Ruled, Blue (6" x 8")

This is my go-to notebook. It's the perfect size for my Bible study needs since it's about the same size as my bible. It's easy to tote in my bag but not too small for substantial note talking. I first stumbled upon these at Barnes and Noble & found myself constantly going back to re-purchase them. What drew me in was the colored pages separated into sections. (Example: Blue for Sunday service, Red for Wednesday service & say purple for prophesy news updates, etc). I also chose them because they aren't wide-ruled, I take too many notes to waste space. Another good feature is the Title box on the top of each page (I put date/Speaker/Title of sermon), but it's not intrusive so it's easy to ignore. Pages are thicker than most so w/the poly cover these are extremely sturdy. They lie flat or fold over for comfort & ease. The spiral itself is not the cheap kind you always find bending easily or coming apart. This is important to me because I like to look back to reference old notes. Sadly, it's been a while since I've seen them in stores, so I was ecstatic to see them here on Amazon. (BE CAREFUL: they have different sizes & some are graph paper: I bought the large one to try and it was too bulky for me. It would be good for school, etc., though if you need a large notebook.) If you really want to have a great note-taking experience I also purchased the mega-pack of colored Papermate ink joy gel pens (.07). They are beautiful, write smoothly & I'm hooked! One issue is the ink gets used somewhat faster than I'd like, but I alternate my pens so I haven't had to reorder yet. Will let you know my final verdict on the pens in a future review if I do reorder. In the meantime, you WANT this notebook!

This is my second purchase of this exact notebook because I love it so much. The 6X9 size is large enough for thorough notes and the different colored sections make specific things easy to find. The paper is thicker than the average notebook and the spiral does not fail or get crooked over time. Minimal if pen bleeds, which is awesome too. I also love the 8.5X11 version of this notebook, also purchased on Amazon. A+++

Plays well with fountain pens using EF, F, M + B nibs. Very satisfying. Well laid out. No ink bleedthrough and just light ghosting with thicker nibs. Love writing in and holding this notebook. Great simple clear layout, micro-perforations, durable hard plastic front and back covers, tons of pages (200 sheets = 400 pages.)

User error: this notebook is much smaller than a standard size notebook, but the organizational design is excellent. Love the perforation. Would just love if it were 8.5x11"Could also go for even more pages per section.

I have used Miquelrius A4 and A5 ruled and gridded spiral bound notebooks with the polypropylene covers for more years than I can remember. I love these notebooks! I’m a list maker and when I’m done with a page it easily rips out on the perforations. I’ve also used the larger A4 for design workbooks. I used to be able to purchase them at Target or bookstores but I was delighted to find that they are sold online on Amazon by a company called Lanye Direct. Their customer service was simply amazing. The order was shipped within an hour of placing it. When it arrived the notebooks were securely wrapped three times to prevent damage and I also received a small Miquelrius notebook as a thank you gift for purchasing from a small business. I hope I will continue to be able to replenish my notebooks as necessary through this business for a long time!

I have been using these notebooks since first stumbling upon it at a Barnes and Noble. I don’t think they sell them anymore, but I’ve been obsessed since. I’ve bought them as gifts for my friends and family and rave about them to whoever will listen. I. Love. This. Notebook.

These are my absolute favorite notebooks to use for class. As a college student that much prefers to use a laptop to take notes, this little notebook is great for jotting down graphs and equations that I wouldn't be able to do on my computer. You do have to take note of the size, but the fact that it's smaller is actually one of the major selling points for me. Walking around campus is a pain as it is, and the last thing I need is a massive notebook to weigh my backpack down more than it already does. The pages are thin, but so far I haven't had any problems with ink seeping through them, and the pages are very, very smooth as well!

Love these notebooks! I have bought several from target in the last but mine seems to no longer carry them. I don't remember them being this pricey, but that might just be my memory and not fact lol they are simplistic with a pop of color, easy to keep things separated without tabs sticking out. I live the header area at the top of the pages and they are college rule. Plenty of pages without being bulky and thick high quality paper that doesn't have much bleed through even with sharpie or other felt tip pens.
