Will buy again and again
These were the perfect additions to 2 projects I finished. Great quality, perfect fit. Never a disappointment.

Good tuners
Like many after market parts, you may need to plug old mounting holes and drill new ones. Very easy do do. These fit my Squire PJ bass just fine.

Good enough
Good enough for a Squier bass with those hideous tiny tuners. Used a 5/64 but for the pilot holes, a 11/16 step bit for the main holes and a small rat tail file to get it perfect. Made sure they were 90° to the headstock, and marked holes and installed them. The chrome doesn't look great, and they are a little stiff. Throw some oil on them. Overall not bad. Let's see how they hold up.

Worked on 1980 Peavey Fury IV
I tried to find machine heads to fit a Peavey Fury IV - 1980 model. It was impossible on a budget. I took a chance on these after looking at the mechanical drawings. The top two holes aligned well. The bottom two holes didn’t and I had to drill some new holes. The old holes were exposed slightly and I could have filled them but I haven’t yet. However they work fine and were affordable which is what I was targeting. The old ferrules worked perfectly as well. Anyway hope this helps.

Perfect fit!
Perfectly fit my Glarry P. Bass! I’m very happy to get rid of the really bad tuners the bass came with. These look almost exactly the same except they work better and feel a lot sturdier.

Hard to go wrong
Great fit and finish, especially at this price point. I would totally buy these again.

Not a direct fit for 1999 MIM jazz bass
I had to fill the mounting holes with a tiny dowel and super glue. The center piece or bushing was slightly smaller than the the MIM tuner holes and I used 4 “small” drops of super glue to hold and center the bushing in place. Then I carefully marked and drilled new holes. I also didn’t trust the mounting screws and bought new mounting screws from ace hardware.Otherwise, the quality of the tuners were about the same as the tuners that came from the factory MIM jazz bass. It’s NOT an upgrade in any way. This is a way to get black tuners or replace broken or worn out tuners.DO NOT put these on an American fender…Ever! I wouldn’t put these on a new neck either. They work good, they hold their tune, they are a little rough, the paint scratches easy. I used the same tuners with 2R and 2L with a built from scratch and they work great. You are buying these because they are affordable not because they are an upgrade. You want nice tuners… save up your money.

Just what I needed
Just what I needed - strong, steel. I am using these gears as a starting point for my project. Compact design, strength of the material used make it a great solution for my project.
