Ok
My shih tzu likes it and it seems to give her a good appetite but they are too hard

Works good for my dog’s anxiety
Recommended by a friend. They work good for when my dog is anxious about a storm or fir when I have to leave her. She has become very clingy in her senior years.

I think it actually works...
Our dog is TERRIFIED of thunder, even when it's not directly impacting our area (dogs and their wonderful hearing!). Our Vet has advised giving him Xanax (specific to his weight). Summers in South Florida are known for thunderstorms, and I'm not a fan of giving him so much Xanax so purchased this to try and alternate. The second I hear there's a possibility of a thunderstorm, even in a neighboring city, I break this up and give it to him in peanut butter and he does seem much calmer, he doesn't tremble and sometimes doesn't even hide. I wouldn't rely on it if I know a major storm is coming (the xanax works better), BUT it's a good alternative for more frequent use. I can't speak to the taste, LOL, but our picky dog doesn't seem to be a fan and it's sort of big and hard for him, so I chop it and patiently coax him to take it down disguised in peanut butter.

Works great
This is great to have on hand for my dogs sensitive stomach. Very convenient

Not too sure
When I opened the bag of these chews there was an odor similar to what I perceived to be a chemical smell. Therefore, I did not give these to my sick dog and instead returned them to the seller with no issue.

Dog not crazy about the taste - but they sure work!
We do have to disguise them for one of our dogs. We just wrap it in some roast beef or something. She's terribly afraid of thunder and shakes like crazy. One of these last night before the storm and she slept right through it! She did wake up a couple of times to cuddle and seemed fine (NOT drugged or anything) but really relaxed. SO glad we found these!

Great treats for our lab!
Our lab is afraid of everything, including flies. These have calmed her down and she's so much more comfortable. Thanks!

Doesn't Calm My Senior Dog
Only upside is my dog liked the treat...given for the first time to calm her before a regular, years-long grooming appointment. These are way too expensive if can only use as a treat -- and only one is allowed per day for dogs up to 50 pounds (small size treats). As a first trial, I gave 3/4 of one treat to my nearly 16-year-old and only 12-pound dog an hour and a half before taking her to the groomer - same groomer she has calmly, up until about a year ago, gone to for nearly a decade - and, as has been the case for the past year, she spent the entire ride trying to climb out of her carseat (strapped in via car harness); whined and barked the whole 15-minute car ride; wouldn't hold still during the grooming and whined the whole time; and upon pickup she again spent the drive home trying to climb out of her carseat, whining and barking the whole way. She was calm at home beforehand but that proves nothing. Do the ingredients only last 5 minutes or do these only work for some dogs and not others, if they truly have any calming effect at all? My dog doesn't have dementia, although hearing and eyesight aren't 100%, and I really hoped the treat would take the edge off her anxiety, but it didn't work :-( I'll try one more time by giving her one whole treat, and if, as I suspect, that doesn't work, they're getting donated to a friend's senior pet sanctuary.
