I purchased this door draft stopper for a bedroom door that lets in a lot of hallway light (and sound). Overall, it does a good job at blocking light and muffling noise when the door is fully closed, and it’s easy to install. You simply cut it to length, slip the foam into the fabric slots, and slide it under the door — installation took just a few minutes.The biggest issue for me is that my door is set slightly higher off the hardwood floor. Because of that, when I open or close the door, the stopper tends to slide under the gap and create some resistance. It’s not unusable, but it is inconvenient. I imagine on a door closer to the floor, this wouldn’t be a problem.As for quality, it’s foam — so it’s not meant to be heavy-duty, but it’s sturdier than I expected. The foam doesn’t tear or crumble easily, and it holds its shape well. This isn’t a security device, but in theory, if someone tried to open the door from the outside, it would add a little resistance since it wedges under the door.For the price, I think it’s a fair buy, especially for doors with less clearance at the bottom. It works well in most situations, and my issue is probably unique to the way my door is built.TL;DR: Easy to install, blocks light and sound effectively, but if your door sits too high above the floor, it may slide under when opening/closing.

I can only assume this door draft stopper is designed for doors wider than mine, as the Velcro ‘adjustment’ is inadequate for my standard 30 inch door, resulting in an overhang which must be folded over and looks terrible. Also, the plastic/nylon casings are also too wide for the foam ‘rods’ which slide into them, so you do not get the neat, smooth ‘look’ portrayed in the item online photo. I have attached my photos. Yes, the casings need to be a little bit bigger in diameter than the foam rods, (perhaps ¼ inch would do it!) to be sure customers can slide the foam ‘rods’ into the casings without too much difficulty, but the diameter of these casings is too big, resulting in a sloppy appearance. I am very disappointed in this item, and feel I am STUCK with it, as the rods must be cut to custom fit the doorway and therefore cannot (presumably) be returned once cut and taped together. I think it would definitely be more expensive to use wood dowels for this item, which you would also need to cut make this work better, though a person could also probably substitute a piece of PVC pipe of a more accurate diameter, cut to your needed width, to get a smoother look. (Assuming your door is 34-36+ inches or more in width. Both of those would make sliding the rids into the pocket casings easy, while providing a better, smoother fit. As it is right now, this is going into the trash.

Great quality definitely stops the air flow . Does slide out of place every one in a while but over all worth it . Really easy to instill .

It fit perfectly and works amazing 👍🏻

Was very useful, to stop my cold air getting out of my bedroom and keeping cooler. Also helped with keeping noise out.
