High Quality
Really well made and worth every penny. Jaws are firm and will not mar soft metals. Spring loaded to open.

Well designed, comfortable grip, replaceable resin inserts, great price. Reputable manufacturer too.
Perfect for replacing plumbing fixtures, brass fittings, etc. The *replaceable* resin inserts virtually guarantee that you won't scratch plated and other delicate surfaces. Also good for copper fittings given that steel jawed pump pliers can damage copper. The work around with steel jaw pliers is to use a a piece of cloth or tape to wrap the area the pliers will grip but with these, no need to do so, one less step and better visibility of the area you're gripping. I have two pairs - 8" and 10". Less than $20.00 each - awesome price. Tsunoda is a Japanese company that's been in existence for ~110 years. Reportedly, they manufacture their tools in Japan which is often a selling point for me. These aren't tools designed and manufactured by mystery companies with questionable design, manufacturing and quality control issues. Tsunoda sells a wide variety of tools. I occasionally check out their website for inspiration. Highly recommended, happy customer.

Worked as it should fairly lightweight
Handy little tool when not wanting to mark up metal that’s been painted this tool is fine for doing light jobs.

Amazing!!!
I had to remove a threaded nut with ~7/16" on the inside and ~1" fine thread on the outside. Was installed 25 years ago. I made my own wooden clamp to try to get it off, but it kept slipping. This took it right off. Amazing. I should have had one of these in my tool bag years ago!! Worth every penny. Appears very well made.

BLACK "FINISH" IS JUST CHEAP PAINT ....
THE BLACK "FINISH" ON THESE PLIERS IS WORTHLESS...!!!! BEWARE ...!!! THEY RUST ALMOST IMMEDIATELY ... I THOUGHT I COULD USE A "RUST-INHIBITOR" TO REDUCE THE CORROSION. NO LUCK! IF YOU WANT PLIERS THAT RUST ... THESE ARE FOR YOU .... OTHERWISE .... LOOK ELSEWHERE ...

Very nice for installing faucets, shower heads, and other plated metals
I bought these pliers for replacing shower heads, and I think they will do the job just fine. I would recommend these pliers only for use on delicate items like chrome-plated plumbing fixtures. The jaws are made of resin, and won't last long under heavy use. Replacement jaws are available through Amazon at a reasonable price. The handles are spring-loaded, which is very nice - but a hassle for storage. I fixed that with a Zip tie loop attached to the handle.

Perfect for delicate jobs when installing chrome taps and fittings. Plus also good for black fittings to avoid scraping the surface off!
