DOW Snapshot 2.5 TG Granular Pre-emergent Herbicide

MY YARD GUY ASKED ME TO ORDER THIS PRODUCT TO KEEP WEEDS FROM COMING UP IN OUR FLOWER BEDS. IT WORKS!! A LITTLE PRICY BUT WORTH IT!

Does the job! We use this is product in Nevada in the spring and Arizona in the fall. Works well !

This is my 2nd year buying this. I have a ledesma problem in my centipede and it solved it.

Not a single weed where ever this was applied! 5 stars! How I used it: Before laying down new mulch, I painstakingly pulled out every single ugly problem weed from the existing mulch. Then I sprinkled a light layer of this stuff all over the top surface of the old mulch. Then I laid down the new mulch. No more weeds 6 weeks later!!!!!! I'd use gloves, goggles and a mask when working with this. I did not at first while opening the bag and applying the first cup, all sorts of dust and residue was breathed in. Hope this is not cancerous

Works pretty well; takes 2 applications (3-4 weeks later) to work really well.

Very expensive, but worked exceptionally well and woeth it.. Will buy again in tne spring.

Great preemergent for mulch and rock beds

This was recommended by a fellow hybridizer who used it on multiple acres. I use it on smaller hybridizing plots and it seems to work quite well. However it does not work on such things as quack grass which I deal with separately. I apply it in Fall and Spring, just as vegetation has gone down or before it starts. I follow the dosing directions. I also use a full mask with eye protection because the silica can cause lung injury or worse. Simply follow the instructions. I would strongly recommend this product for general purpose use for the species as indicated and taking the precautions as stated. I also wear nitrile gloves, long trousers and shirts and wash cloting immediatly upon completion. Just watch out for the silica.
