Nice board, if you get the POE version note that not all shields will fit due to the riser board!
Ordered the NON-POE version, was sent the POE version... The POE version has a little riser board down the middle, which causes many shields/modules to NOT fit.Not happy. I ordered the NON-POE version for a reason, and now my project is delayed while I order a different manufacturers part so my other shield/module will fit.Other than that it seems to work as advertised.

Seemingly a good piece of hardware
After writing a negative review, I did some additional Googling and found that it is mandatory to set the Ethernet RSET PIN to HIGH to make the Ethernet responsive and stable. Using the built-in Ethernet.h, this board seems to be much more stable now.Now that I've been able to see this thing perform, I'm very impressed at the price/performance of this board, particularly since they sent me the Active POE model by mistake (thanks!). I can confirm it works well with POE and with 5VDC, at least during programming.I'll be buying more.

No Documentation on unit
Board arrived with no documentation at all. Contacted seller and after several days got a response that they would "forward the request for information" to support. Since then no further contact. Searched on internet for any documentation on this particular and found NOTHING.

Seller substituted the wrong version
Apparently the seller keeps substituting the POE version for the plain version. It's a stupid design with the POE board sticking up too high to plug in any shields. I don't have time to send it back, so I'll just make do with header risers.

RJ-45 Ethernet, easy to use, tons of space for your sketches
I love the extra code space that the Mega 2560 has. It took me a while to get my TCP-IP client working - inexperience on my part - the example code from the link on RobotDyn’s website got me 95% of the way there. This is a wonderful product!

Junk USB Connector
This is the third one I have had this happen to. The Micro USB comes off the board. It is too flimsy to be of any real use. Get an ethernet shield rather than this piece of Coco
