Light Weight But Firm; Very Portable; Love the Carrying Case
I have some back problems and often sleep mostly reclined in a recliner at home, so motel beds that force me to sleep flat just don't do the trick. This folding wedge on top of the motel bed works like a champ. Some have complained that it's too firm, and yes it's quite firm, but my back likes it that way. If you want a softer surface, just put a motel blanket or even a couple of the motel's large bath towels over it -- or in the ultimate, a couple of the motel's pillows on top of it. I especially like the way it folds up and fits into the carrying case with a handle for travel. However, there are no two ways about it -- it's pretty big -- too large for airplane travel unless you check it as luggage. I don't know of a way around that because if you made it fold-able and blow up, it would not provide very good support. So for home use -- awesome. For car travel -- excellent. For air travel -- not so much.

Solid product (literally and figuratively)
I purchased this just before a recent surgery that required sleeping at an incline. I chose this one mainly because it was one of the most affordable, and I liked that it came with a washable cover. (The folding aspect was also appealing for storage.)It is a very firm wedge, which I really like. There isn't much give to it, and does not have any memory foam or anything. It is a simple, solid foam wedge that keeps me inclined through the night. I also put additional pillows under both arms, and under my knees for more stability (so I don't slide down the pillow during sleep). It worked perfectly for my needs. During the day, we fold it up and leave it by the bed. Great product.

Wedge for bed
Wedge pillow worked well, was unable to really maneuver it around to help me when I needed to be up a little to sleep at night in a pinch. It was a good cushion to use.

Works like a charm
Got this to help "cure" Hubby's snoring and ease the stiff neck that sleeping on stacked up pillows was giving him. Works like a charm! He's only used it twice but they have been absolutely restful for him (no morning stiff neck) and for me (no snorting, sniffing, honking, NOTHING!). The pillow is firm, but that's a good thing: he doesn't feel like he's sinking into it. He does use a smaller pillow for his head and is perfectly comfortable with that. One of the previous reviewers mentioned this being a perfect size to travel with. When the box came in, we laughed out loud - the thing was HUGE (it definitely won't fit with the carry on luggage). However, two nights later? We're thinking road trips for sure, and now I'm in the market for an inflatable one to take on those air/cruise trips. This thing is awesome. The only drawback, as has been previously mentioned, is that it doesn't come with a pillow case that you can take off and wash. This gal owns a sewing machine, though, so that's an easy fix.

Good but...
Good wedge but I ordered the wrong height. 12" height is way to high for me to get comfortable sleeping on this and unfortunately this item cannot be EXCHANGED or RETURNED.The foam itself is great no weird chemical scent & it did not come compressed like other foam wedges or foam anything these days. It is on the firm side so yup, excellent in giving the support needed for leg, back & other things - with that said most people will find the firmness of the foam uncomfortable to sleep on.Great for reading, watching TV etc. Since I cannot exchange this - it's basically useless to me. If you like a supportive very firm foam wedge that does not smell toxic buy it BUT choose very wisely! I should have purchased the 7" wedge.

Excellent Wedge Pillow!
I have sinus issues year round as well as trouble with acid reflux so sleeping with my head elevated is the only way I can get a good nights sleep. I have an adjustable bed but I decided to purchase this wedge pillow for when I travel. This works very well! It took a night to get used to it since it is pretty firm but I used soft pillows with it and that did the trick! The elevation is at a good angle without being too high or low and the width and length is perfect even when sleeping in a full size bed with my husband. I like that it can be turned around for use when reading in bed. It folds up and fits easily in its carrying case. While it’s too large for airline traveling (you’d have to check it in baggage) it goes with me on every road trip!

Great and versatile bed wedge
My aunt was slouched in her bed after a recent illness, and all the propping of pillows behind her back and head would just let her slide down into slouch mode after a while. I bought this for her and she's soooo much happier! She now can read, use her tablet, drink a cup of tea, etc., all while being much more comfortable. She can sit up in bed, recline as well, and that has improved her outlook because she's not as tired from just laying in bed on her back.I bought one for my household, too, and have used it to drape my legs over after a long day of standing. What a great and versatile bed wedge! I love that the cover comes off and is machine washable.

It helps with acid reflux.
The first few nights, it was hard to get comfortable, because I wasn't used to it. Then my sister hurt her back, and borrowed it from me, just as I'd gotten used to it. It really helped with her back, and she found it easier to get used to than I did. Now, I have it back, and I'm trying to get used to it all over again. If you're a back sleeper, it's excellent for posture, and it can really help with acid reflux, as well. But I'm a side sleeper, and I tend to slide down it, so I still wake up with back pain. The acid reflux is better, but right now, I have strep throat, so it's extremely hard to get comfortable no matter what. It is easy enough to clean, though, and any relief from my killer acid reflux is wonderful.
