Got this knife because I love all their other knives. It came with a nick in the blade, I contacted them and set them pics like they wanted and never heard anything back from them. I was very disappointed in dalstrong to say the least.. still wish they would get back to me be I doubt they will...

Been using this knife every chance I get. It's half the thickness of the box store knives I once used. Not anymore! The edge on this knife scares the spouse enough that she fears damaging it. The edge on any blades of this series will have no problem skinning the skin twice of a fillet that your old knife tried to do.Only problem in life you'll have is wondering who can sharpen this knife back to the edge it once had. I've had a week and it's cut veggies, it's cut meat, it's even hit a bone or two and still as sharp as the day it came from the box.Oh lets speak of the box! it fits so nice in it's box you may not want to take it out! The sheaths are so simple yet so perfect for the blade you may not want to leave them out of them.Now lets talk about then PIN that's included in the box... Since I bought two knives I stuck one pin on my social hat and stripped the pin off the other so I could add a magnet to it to stick to any surface in the kitchen. The pins are of a nice design for sure.Add it all up, you get a great knife, great look, and tokens to show as well.Enjoy your new blade, I know I will.

I was hesitant to buy the knife at first glance; the G.I. Joe action trailer for it, and the 'Shadow Black Edition' title sounded like a COD release. But I listened to the reviews and figured I'd give it a whirl. Been using the knife for a minute, and it is heaven in a handblade. Only reason I caution the beauty of this siren is for its ability to be so sharp, it can slice portals through time. I'm quite happy with my knife and my own dodo bird, worth every penny👌

I've been using this knife daily at work for a couple months now. Overall I'm quite satisfied, but there are a couple issues I would share. First, it was not very sharp out of the box. If you are able to sharpen your own knives, this is not a real issue. A few minutes on my stones corrected the problem. The main issue is safety. The handle is designed in such a way that it is possible to set it down with the blade sticking up at about a 35 or 40 degree angle. If you are in a hurry or just don't notice, you could cut yourself. In my opinion this is a serious design flaw. Personally, I like the knife and enjoy using it, but would advise caution in this regard. I also feel the price is a bit steep for a knife at this quality level. If I had paid full price I would be pretty unhappy with this knife

I work as a prep cook in a busy cafe so a good heavy duty sharp functional knife is important to me. I was not disappointed at all with this knife. The weight, feel in my hand, and balance is great not to mention how sharp it was straight out of the box.I prep a good amount of vegetables everyday, and I like a sharp knife as well as a knife where the vegetables do not stick to the blade. I have been using a Groovetech knife which I absolutely love. Nothing sticks to it. This knife appealed to me visually, and because of the titanium coating as it was advertised as a non stick blade....and that has been entirely true.I have several other Dalstrong knives in my collection, and each one is great. If you are looking for a great all around useful knife for the home kitchen or your work...go for it...YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

This is my second knife from Dalstrong. My usual go-to knife is my Shun Classic Kiritsuke. I have to admit that I was a little skeptical of Dalstrong, but was in the market for a nakiri, and this one had a few shout outs from some reviewers that have yet to steer me wrong. I am pretty impressed with this knife. Obviously, it looks wonderful, but more importantly, it cuts very nicely. It passed the carrot and tomato tests out of box. I'll update in a another month or so to see how it performs in the long term. However, if you are in the market for a vegetable knife, the price/performance combo is pretty great. I would recommend.

I've been using it for over a month now and I love it. I use it every day for various different tasks and I love how versatile and light-weight it is. The edge has remained as sharp as when I first got it.The handle fits perfectly in my hands no matter if I'm gripping up on the blade or down on the handle. The weight is evenly distributed. Nothing sticks to the blade, so I can fly through boxes of fruits and veggies quickly.This is a great starter knife for any pack seeing as how inexpensive it is.

Bought this on a reccomadation from a colleague who highly raved about dalstrong and I'll be very pleased so I went and purchased it and have to admit it's by far one of the best knives I ever bought.So now I'm sold on this.The weight and well balanced of the knife does not cause fatigue.

What can i say.....Simply the BEST knife company!! And i have about 4 or 5 of their knives now. Forget paying 3-5 times the price for a shun and german wustofs are just boring, plus they REALLY care for their customer's. I had one tiny issue and they made up for it ten times over! The knife itself is just AMAZING. The handle is futuristic but perfectly balanced especially with a pinch grip. Razor sharp out the lovely box and u get a badge & sheeth (is that how u spell it?) too. It is stunning like ALL their knives! Buy buy buy
