We loved the challenge of this intricate jig-saw. This is NOT a beginners puzzle.
We like puzzles. Painter & puzzle maker Dowdle has a TV show that shows his process in making very detailed paintings of famous places which then become a puzzle. Dowdle visits each area for awhile and then paints and includes lots of local flavor and local images in his work.We have been to Lahaina, Maui so choosing Dowdle's Maui puzzle. His details make his puzzles very challenging; it took us 3 days.Dowdle's puzzle are not cheap so when, as a Prime member, I had to pay $6.98 shipping I was not pleased.If you like jig-saws you'll like his puzzles and art work.

Perfect Valentines Day gift to Remember Maui
Maui is our favorite place to visit and this puzzle memorializes the special town of Lahaina in Maui. All pieces were intact and was a very strong puzzle

Missing pieces
This is a great puzzle. BUT there are thee pieces missing!! And I am very careful about puzzle pieces so I know they were not included in the package. Sorry!!

Evoked Great Memories of this Beautiful Harbor
Charming Puzzle of Beautiful Maui. I was determined to find and purchase this puzzle at what I considered a reasonable price which I ultimately did on amazon.com. Just based on its face value alone this puzzle beautifully depicts the port of Lahaina, Maui -- the hub of that island. Having been to Maui more than once I thought the picture really captured the essence of the beautiful hills surrounding the harbor. Enjoyed working on it with family members and found Mr. Dowdle's art enhanced the typical puzzle experience and plan to purchase more of his charming puzzles. So much fun. 500 pieces great for a not so overwhelming project.
