Compact and Easy to Install!

Sturdy and Easy to Work with
One of the garbage connector my builders preinstalled had a lifted pad and didn't work. After a day of debugging I ordered one of these. So much better than the crap it replaced. Nice and easy click. Installed nicely.This unit is great, wiring wiring diagram is totally correct.

Reasonable quality at a good prcie
There is nothing special about this but it is well made and the shutter does not jam, so easy to insert and remove the plugs.

Cat6 only requires 25mm back box
A 25mm back box (fitted or proud) requirement makes a big difference as less to chase or less visible when proud & when fitted in the module faceplate it all looks well. I use many of these for CCTV installation for the 25mm requirement and cost

Easy install.
Used in a power over Ethernet CCTV installation and was perfect for termination of the cable. The wiring diagram on the back of the unit was straight forward to follow and everything seems to fit securely.I will be using these again in other installations.

Wrong signal labels?
As you can see from the photo the unit supplied differs considerably in appearance from the advertised photo.The signal wire stickers appear wrong as I believe the blue and green pairs are transposed - this reduces confidence in the modules. I previously installed some cat 6 sockets from another source where the blue and green pairs were consistent with online tutorials hence did actually check this before wiring. Hopefully my assumption that the sticker is wrong is correct otherwise I’ll end up having to rewrite. Generally not the quality I expected and as such would not purchase again. Treat the star rating carefully.That said if it works - it’ll be a few weeks before I can test - they are ok as long as you take into account the labelling issue.

Poor connections
When terminating the twisted pair cables, one terminal didn’t hold the wire therefore no good the other terminals held but only just. Ended up using another one i already had in the wall that was no longer needed and the grip of the terminations on this was far superior
