Callaway Scorecard Reader Glasses

My husband wanted a pair of foldable reading glasses to be able to keep in his pocket. These are a bit pricier but he loves anything Golf and the Callaway case was worth the extra $$$. He really likes them. I used them last night and the 1.5 worked really well. They made the print bigger and clearer than any pair of reading glasses I have. He really likes them and really likes that he can have his reading glasses handy without keeping them on his head and hand carrying them. I did instruct my husband to take care with the folding/unfolding as I had read about issues with them coming apart. I'll update the review if we experience any issues.

These may be sold as Scorecard Readers, but honestly, these are great for anyone who needs a portable pair of reading glasses. Of course, because they say Callaway, my husband thought they were really great. Of all the expanding readers he has had, these are by far the most sturdy with the most convenient case. Consider this for a great Father's Day gift.

Like the way they fold up, but are flimsy. Hard to get them on straight.

very compact and a great concept, unfortunately the right arm of the glasses does not stay open as it should and it constantly slides back and cause the glasses to become lopsided and not stay on well at all. Disappointing

I always get compliments on these glasses. The form factor make these great for travel or just stuffing them in your pocket to read menus in restaurants.

First pair that came were broken. The second pair that came were bent somewhat and had to be adjusted. Fortunately, they did not break while adjusting. Was tired of sending them back.

Update: Going to start a return as overall not impressed; concerned about future issues.When first getting the glasses was surprised at how small the case was. About the size of a cigarette lighter. Taking the glasses out I was surprised to notice how much force was required to remove them. Concerned about abrasions to the lenses I checked the padding on the inside. Very minimal. The lenses themselves through the whole unfolding process will get fingerprints on them - there's no avoiding it.Once the glasses are unfolded, the arms bent out to the sides, and then the arms telescoped to proper ear length they're fine as readers - nothing special other than that they're small height.However, when it comes time to put them back into the case it's a little bit of fun. Collapse the ear arms (3 telescoping segments), fold them back to the center and while folding the lenses try to align the arms to poke through the center. The final width usually doesn't match the width of the case. More pressure than feels "right" will finally get them in however I question how many times this can happen w/o incident.Inspecting the lenses construction with a magnifier shows what appears to be Phillips screws holding the arm joints while a straight screw holds the center over the nose. Oddly however, the bottom of each joint doesn't show a bolt or anything similar to help retain said screws. Time will tell if they work themselves out.Overall not impressed. Foster Grant makes some that are in not so quite compact of a case yet work fairly well for portability. These I'm going to give another day or two before deciding on what to do. Will update.

perfect size & quality. great for in the pocket & everyday use. and they look good on me!!! just ask my wife...
