This is a very powerful antioxidant that I've been taking on and off over a period of 30 years (I'm 74). My body generates a lot of inflammation and I have a tendency to develop what I call crunchy joints. It feels or sounds like crunching potato chips in knees, neck, shoulders and fingers. I sometimes wake up in the morning with several fingers on my right hand locked down and have to pry them loose. I'LL start taking a double dose for the first week (1 tsp, which is 2 capfuls in 1/2 c of water) on a fairly empty stomach before going to bed. I sware, the crunchies are gone after the first week, but I continue with a single dose at night or first thing in the morning until it's all used.
