*FIRST IMPRESSION REVIEW*Oh my goodness, this flashlight is HUGE! It's perfect! It's weighty, easy to use/hold and I feel safe with it! It also feels very nice - easy to grip.I got this flashlight because I was sick and tired of getting harassed every time I walk through town. It's hard and stressful trying to get home before it gets dark and although walking through town is the safest way home, I was sick and tired of getting harassed by drunkards and teenagers. NOW I can take the shortcut and protect myself, whether it's lighting the entire alley or getting ready to physically defend myself!If you're ever worried about travelling alone in the dark like I am, I urge you to get this flashlight! It may be expensive and it's not very discreet but at least you have something on you that would buckle a leg or two. Feel confident and comfortable with this product! It's worth the money and it is BRIGHT. Who needs to turn the lights on when you can have this light up an entire room!It definitely feels sturdy. It has a nice grip and it's nice to touch. Although I worry that if you wear gloves, there's a possibility that the flashlight can slip out of your hands - gloves with grips aren't expensive anyway. It won't fit in an elegant handbag and it's quite heavy but it's better to be safe and sorry. It won't eliminate the chances of bad things happening to you in the dark, but it can definitely reduce that possibility by 90%.

Decided to try as an alternative to maglites - seems to be comparable but at a more reasonable costs.

The build quality is generally good, but the lens is thin plastic. There is no way of focussing the beam and the output brightness is not as high as two smaller torches that I own.With batteries, the torch is weighty, and that is a plus if looking for a tactical torch. However there is no attachment point for a lanyard.

Good solid heavy duty torch with a bright and long reach beam. Excellent for personal security too, as it feels robust and solid, especially with the batteries in. Yes you can hear the batteries rattle if you shake the torch but that’s a trivial issue. Definitely not something you could fit in a pocket though for extended carry.

It is about same weight length but a different grip pattern but does as good has a better crisper brightness has o rings both ends for weather same as mag replaceable bulb same as mag but there is where the pros end and get to the on off button a three stage button that others have mentioned but that is not the worst bit with a mag you can feather the button to send morse and as others mention it rattles bit of tape fixes it to sum up if they fix the button and rattle it would be an excellent torch with these issues it is just good torch but a third of the price of a mag would I buy again yes I think I would

Keep under my bed for power outages and for a thumping stick. They’re built to last, really solid investment!

Rediculous 3-stage 'on' where it is on, on half-bright and then flashing! Press on and it is on, switch off and on again and it is half bright, switch off and on again and it flashes like a strobe. Off and on again and it is back where it should be. Why this rediculous 'Feature', oddly not mentioned in the write up, is present is beyond me. Why can't it just be on and off? who needs a flashlight that potentially need to be cycled 3 times each time you switch it on?Also, the 'sturdy', 'tactical' design is fine except when you shake the torch the batteries jostle and lose connection so you find yourself in the dark.Get it working normally though and it is a powerful torch. I doubt i will buy another though.
