A strange and interesting read.
Wow! This was interesting but got a little redundant after a while. She was quite the nymphomaniac. No apologies just couldn't get enough.

Victorian Hypocrisy
Eveline is a beautiful girl, her father's darling. She will do anything to make her father happy, and satisfy his lust. The author writes with British understatement, the language is quite proper, and we are treated to episodes of Eveline satisfying her insatiable urges. Although she is privileged, she treats everyone fairly, from the stable boy, various coachmen, and the upper crust. There is a lot of humor, and a great deal of philosophy on society's hypocrisy. You should read this over and over.

While I like the erotic writing style of the Victorian era
While I like the erotic writing style of the Victorian era, it seems that it's hard to find Victorian works that do not involve incest at some point in the books. Most of the other encounters are quite enjoyable. The last third of the book however is primarily dominated by incest.

Nothing New Under the Sun.
Some well observed social commentary is hidden amongst this tale of libidinous female sexuality. Not just a tedious recitation of sexual endeavour, it highlights the ever present hypocrisy of society. Worth comparing with present day mores. Reccomended but not for the faint hearted.

Nice heroine.
Eveline is a clever and very likeable heroine with a conscience which makes this an erotic work women can enjoy. This was the first Victorian erotica I read years ago and still enjoyable. Not clear as to when it was first written though this version is squarely late Victorian.

Mostly good, a bit repetitive.

Sublime
Easy reading, erotic to say the least, one does not need a blue pill after reading this collection of events all wrapped up in one book.

Eveline,Oh what a story
An inelligant romp of the grand Victorian tradition, full of large members filling the void where possible. What a woman! What is so humorous is the lack of consequences.
