Where has this been all my pet-owning life?
This clipper is brilliant. I can finally trim my dog's nails without either one of us worrying. I used to get so stressed out, afraid I would cut the quick, that I'm sure my dog sensed it and she would freak out. I just wish this had been invented many years ago, I would have loved to have it when I had house bunnies. The company is great - be sure to go to their website to request a sizing card, it's amazing how different the size of nails can be from one dog to another, even if they both are the same size and weight dog. They sent the card out right away and I was able to order the perfect size for my dog. Also, the first package didn't show up for a couple of extra days and was deemed lost so I was instructed to order another one. Of course, the "lost" package showed up but the company told me to keep both clippers and donate or give away the extra one, no return necessary. That is awesome customer service. I did give the extra clipper to a friend and she loves it too. I am telling everyone I know with dogs about this clipper and letting them use my sizing card, I hope the company gets tons of business, they deserve it. One thing I should mention, I am also using another great invention called the Doggie Lift to hold my dog while I trim her nails. It's like an extra hand and she calms right down as soon as I suspend her in it. Then I have both hands free to fiddle with her feet. Update 11/11 on sizing: I want to stress that you really need to get the sizing card from the company to be sure you get the right size clipper. You can't go by the weight of your dog. My dog is a Chihuahua mix, weighs only 11 pounds and needed the Large clipper (3.5 mm) for most of her nails. I ended up needing a second clipper in size XL (4 mm) for her dew claws. I see some negative reviews from people with much bigger dogs so it would seem even the largest size (5 mm), would be too small for them. This company does make anther, adjustable clipper, that goes all the way up to 11 mm, it is available here: https://www.amazon.com/Zen-Clipper-Precise-Adjustable-Clippers/dp/B07Y2DTCRW/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=Zen+Clipper+Precise&link_code=qs&qid=1573521413&sourceid=Mozilla-search&sr=8-2

Finally, clippers that work and are safe
By far the best clippers I have ever used. I have a lab\pit mix that hates gates hates having her nails done...I used to try to clip them myself, but then she would start to mistrust me and give me those sad dog eyes...so I started taking her to the vet. We got a new dog (great Pyrenees) so I started looking again and found these. Unfortunately, the biggest size was too small for my Put; but they worked great for my other dog. I can now clip her nails without going to the vet, and without needing 1 to 2 more people to help hold her . These are quick, SAFE, easy easy easy to use, and seem comfortable for your doggo!

Great idea - but badly made
I really wanted to like these, but after three returns I’m giving up. The spring in the center invariably falls out after a few uses.

Wish I'd have ordered more than one size.
I took a really long time deciding which size to order and used a sizing card as well, ultimately opting for the Med 3mm for the young, very tiny maltipoo new to our home. However, this size was still too small for his nails. It DID work on two of them though and worked pretty well especially given that this little guy does NOT want his nails clipped. The design made it much easier on my arthritic, often numb hands. I was able to access the nails so much better grin the underside as opposed to with traditional cutters requiring positioning of the paw that my dogs don't agree with. I wasn't ready to try another size when I initially returned these but have decided now after trying again with the many other trimmers we have, that I'm going to order the L 3.5 mm for certain and maybe even the next size up for good measure. All in all, I do think these are going to work out for us and make my life immensely easier.

Excellent until the spring pops!
These are great for trimming my dogs nails and worked excellent until the spring no longer stays in and now they are just about impossible to use and get the holes aligned to put my dogs nail in all while they are squirming. I tried support but no option since I bought them awhile ago. Love them, but would not buy again if the spring is going to fall out again. Maybe it’s a one off thing, not sure. Good luck.

You need this in your life
Wiggley pug approved. She still doesn't want her nails trimmed, but we are able to get it done in about w minutes, without her bleeding. Highly recommend. I had to try 2 sizes to determine which was best. 15lb 2year old pug and large is perfect. Did in my hand well without being bulky. Nail slides into the hole easily without worry of cutting too short, we get each paw done quickly and without pain. This means less struggles. My husband holds the pup, and I trim. I didn't think I would be able to trim by myself simply because my pug is a spaz and would never stay still long enough for that.

Are Zen Pet Nail Clippers as good as the claims made? I finally bought a pair for my Cookerpoo who has always suffered the greatest “nail clipper fear” and yes they worked. This time he didn’t seem to realise that I’d actually trimmed his nails, he was totally chilled! I have now bought 2 more pairs of graduating sizes for the other dogs and won’t be changing brand any time soon. They do cut quietly, quickly and without injury, just follow the instructions but do download/ print the size sheet before buying. My dogs are now so relaxed when I trim their nails, a relief for me and them. They are the perfect size, lightweight and easy to use too Thank you Zen Clipper! Katzenworld also offer a 1st rate service

The only clippers my dog will allow me to do her nails with. It makes the process super easy and quick. I do find over time the spring and lil knob will come out but otherwise very good. Once in a while I do I have to upgrade and buy a bigger one though. It's unfortunate that these were ~$20 a couple years ago and are now $30+

You would have to review the hole size as but I found it so easy to use.

I recommend Zen clippers to ALL my puppy buyers and All my dog friends. So far all of the clippers have been excellent - EXCEPT this lime green LARGE 4mm size - which keep braking after the first few nails that are clipped WHY IS THE QUALITY SO POOR FOR JUST THIS ITEM ???
