Pool light
Love this pool light!! It made our pool look beautiful at night. We live in Texas and so it is very hot during the day, So we love to swim at night. This really added A wonderful effect to our pool. It’s very easy to install. It took all of five minutes. It is magnetized and has a light on the outside and inside which you can turn them on together or one at a time. We don’t use the one on the outside because it causes bugs to accumulate around the light, especially mosquitoes. One light is a bright white light, and the other is interchanging different colors it rotates. We love it. Thank you to the seller and Amazon for this great product. 💙

Bright LED
We have an 18' pool, and this LED light is bright enough to illuminate the entire pool. The color-changing mode adds a fun touch, too. Installation was a breeze—just align the two pieces on each side of the liner and you're done. Highly recommend for anyone looking to add some lighting to their pool.

What a hassle
I much prefer the old-style,single color (white) light, I could have used it with a timer or Alexa. This new fangled thing requires you to interact with the transmitter every time you need to turn it on or off, what a hassle. They've ruined what was a great, simple product with a lot of unnecessary "bling".So I devised a hack to turn it on with a timer. Arduino Nano, 7805, NPN Transistor and a few lines of code.emitter and collector across the light's "ON" button, base to Arduino pin 12. When the external timer comes on, the circuit waits 5-seconds after Arduino boot-up, and the NPN transistor electronically "taps" the on button 3 times. Works a peach (the three pulses ensures it turns on and goes to white light every time. The functionality of the original button is also preserved.// A startup hack for Intex Pool Light:// Cletus Berkeley - April 2023// Version 2.01int NPN=12; // to NPN transistor baseint onTime=400;int offTime=500;void setup() {// Code runs once on startup:delay (5000); //initial delaypinMode(NPN,OUTPUT);//First pulse (multicolor)digitalWrite(NPN, HIGH); //multicolor ondelay (onTime); //delaydigitalWrite(NPN, LOW); //idledelay (offTime); //delay// Second pulse (off)digitalWrite(NPN, HIGH); //offdelay (onTime); //delaydigitalWrite(NPN, LOW); //idledelay (offTime); //delay// Third pulse (WHITE)digitalWrite(NPN, HIGH); //whitedelay (onTime); //delaydigitalWrite(NPN, LOW); //idle}void loop() {// Done :}

Awesome pool light!
I ordered this pool light and wasVery impressed! It lights up the whole entire perimeter of my 22ft round pool. I had a light once before that I paid $179 for and this light lights up my pool just as good for less money! It was super easy to put on the side of the pool as it is magnetic and you can chose your light setting to be set on one color or rotate through all the colors.

SURPRISINGLY BRIGHT
I purchased 2 lights because my pool is 36x18ft. and boy these did not disappoint. Magnetic and they held to the walls while the children night swam. I'm so thrilled I purchased these. Just FYI... they have a super long cord so when plugged in they are completely away from the pool by about 4ft. If you have an above ground this is a must.

Joke's on me, I guess.
First one-star review I have ever written... So I have now had four of these. I guess that I should have given up after the second one failed, but no...I had faith...I was wrong. First one lasted through the summer, but when I got it back out for the next summer, it would no longer light up. Tested the leads...it was getting 12v power...but would not work. Ordered another...it lasted a day and quit, so returned it. Got a third...it lasted almost to the end of the summer, and then would shut off after having been on for about 5 minutes. Turn it off and back on, and it would go for another 5 minutes or so, and then shut off again. So, I foolishly ordered another (4th time's a charm?)...tested it, and put it away to use for this year. Got it out and set everything up about a week ago. Lasted for three days...now this one is dead too. I'm using them exactly as intended...even putting on the side of the pool that does not get sun. I don't know what the deal is...plenty of good reviews, so figured I must just have had bad luck. After 4 of them though, I wont ever buy again, and recommend others to do the same. Sad...Intex generally makes a good product...but not this time.
