How much water does this hold

Approx one gallon. But does need topping up regularly as it does evaporate and birds like to bath and drink from it. Plus the solar pump inside needs cleaning regular as it gets clogged.

Can the base be filled with stones for extra weight as want to put it in a front garden that gets really windy

The base is sealed but if you were to make a hole in the top and then fill it? We’ve had ours since 2020 in the back garden which gets very gusty and it hasn’t gone over yet.

How heavy is this. Will it fall over in winds or does it need anchoring down.

I’m not sure of the weight but not very heavy. Easily lifted by one person. We have had ours in the garden during the recent high winds and it has been fine. Don’t forget you have the weight of the water in addition once in place.

Anyone had problems on installation? Pump making weird noise and no water coming out

When connecting it all up the pump will work ( making a noise as there is no water) as soon as the photo cells are in light. To prevent this while completing the setup I covered the light cells. Once everything is connected and in place then fill with water and the pump will pump with no noise.
