Good gaiters for snow - solid and well designed
These are sturdy and well designed - they work great for snow - at a good price - recommended

Works exactly as hoped and then some
As soon as I got these in the mail, I had to give them a try. We’ve gotten about 2 1/2 feet of snow and my dog really needed a walk so I put these on and off we went. I intentionally walked through deeper snow, about 3/4 up my shin. Not one bit of snow got in, and anywhere that these covered was toasty warm at the end.The fabric is thick and seems really tough, the Velcro is really strong, I also like how they have overlapping Velcro flaps at the bottom to ensure that it stays sealed. The hook stayed on my bootlace for the whole walk and the top strap kept the gaiters in place.Highly recommended!

Size table is worthless
Size breakdown:- 5’5”, 108 lbs, pear/athletic-shaped- 9.5 women’s US shoe size- 13.5” around widest part of unclothed calf- Size small fit perfectlyThe size chart said I should get a large, but this seemed wrong because I’m pretty tiny and these are unisex. I went with small because it just seemed logically right. The small fits perfectly. Anything else would be too big. Do not go off your shoe size. Instead, go with what you think your unisex calf size would be, or compare to my or other reviewers’ measurements.I haven’t used them yet. I deducted a star for the completely inaccurate and worthless size table.Update: I used them once so far for snowshoeing. They worked great! They stayed in place, kept snow out of my ankle boots, and made no noticeable difference in my ability to move around.I’d give them 5 stars if it wasn’t for the useless size table. It seems like such a ridiculously easy thing for the company to fix if they just changed it to be off of calf size and not shoe size.

10/10
Phenomenal, would buy again and recommend. I use them for all manner of snow activities. Better than last pair and half the price of big stores. Velcro front is super strong and includes an added Velcro latch to prevent them from pulling apart at the toe (super upgrade over my last pair). The material is tough I'm very happy with them. With these I can do any snow activity with just my hiking boots and no need for snow pants.

Strange design
I'm not sending these back, but wouldn't buy this brand again. . As is typical, there's a long velcro fastener along the front, and at the bottom, a hook to grab your boot's laces. It seems obvious to me that the bottom piece should have the hook, so it can be engaged, then the other velcro half joined. But these have the opposite: you can either engage the hook and then try to slide the other half under (very awkward), or join them and then hook, which is not ideal. . The strap that goes under the boot has a buckle which is pulled half under the boot when fastened. I hate to guess how long this will last while walking over Colorado rocks. . There's an extra flap at the bottom of the main velcro seam, completely unnecessary and time-consuming to deal with. . There's a fastener at the top, with a plain strap on one side and a fitting with two slots on the other. I've tried all four ways to thread the thing (no instructions, of course); they're all awkward to get done and none of them hold securely. I don't like leaving the ends flapping in the wind, so I'll probably just cut both ends off.

A must
I went with a size medium to go over winter hiking pants. 14inch calves but medium was needed for layers. Well made. Durable.

6 1” 232 pounds go with medium if your this size
These are great shin protectors specially for weed trimming or at least in my case it was what I bought them for. The only downside (not the products fault) I choose the wrong size I’m 6ft1 223 pounds. I had opt for the large size. I thought these would fit my calves and they did but a little to much to late lol I should have ordered ☝️the medium. They will wrap my legs so far that the Velcro almost goes past the connection point. One thingto mention however I’m wearing these around my legs bare not with pants leggings. I’m sure that has little to do. My suggestion is if your my size as mentioned above, don’t go with the L’s go with the medium instead. Other than that they are made really well!
