Q: Ours has a 'black" spot in the middle of the light. Any idea how to fix this - a new bulb???

The way to get rid of the black spot is to take thehead of the flashlight completely off and adjust the small light housing. I way this can take hours of doing this till you get rid of the black spot. When you do get it done, you'll be impressed with the solid circle. But it can hours or even a few days to get it right. Hope this helps.

It depends on the department’s policies. Back in the day, there were a few cases of police flashlight vs perpetrator’s head, so a few departments restricted them to the 3 or even the 2- cell versions, shying away from the 4-cell beast. At that time, Streamlite was coming on strong with LEO’s (Law Enforcement Officers) by providing a lighter weight, tough plastic rechargeable flashlight with a Krypton bulb (brighter).
