can you replace just the bulb when bad or whole fixture

It doesn't look like it. It's not one bulb, it's LEDs and there's a bunch of them. So far we're impressed with it. We have several yard lights around the farm and the "traditional" yard lights we have are barely lasting a year or two and then go on and off all night long. This one seems to be well made.

Can you attach this to a pole?

Have 2 of these mounted on 1.25" schedule 40 galvanized pipe that reduces from 1.5" pipes that are used for my ranch light poles. Due to the high winds in my area frequently above 25mph: I not only used the included pole slot and mount with bolts but added a 2.5" U-Bolt to each to provide additional strength in event of a 75mph wind gust. So far they are doing just fine in my high desert ranch on top of 35' high light poles for just over 2 years so far, in fact; I mostly came here today thinking about buying a few more of these since they work so nice; but debating on the 4200, 6000 lumen and 8000 lumen versions. These are holding up to 109f degree summer heat as well as freezing 20f degree winter nights AT 35' high the 4200 lumen coverage is adequate, but debatable whether optimal. Considering 8000 lumen commercial grade 80w, but really these are still pretty good even with "only" 4200 lumen; they are toe to toe as bright as the 60w mercury vapor fixtures that they replaced; though a yellower color than the daylight white of the mercury vapor bulbs. Daylight versions are available, note that this is 3500k warm white, daylight is 5000k daylight. Since this is on my ranch, I tend to use warmer white around plants to let them rest from daylight; even faint artificial sources. I do use daylight 5000k bulbs/fixtures around the ranch, pumphouse, kennels, stables, other buildings and vehicle parking areas to keep rodents away and find that strategy to be most effective as daylight seems a real deterrent for nocturnal rodent pests.

Will this light mount to a arm ?

This light has the same mount design as any other dusk to dawn light and I believe you could mount it to an arm.

What is the mount dimensions, expecially horizonally. Plan to mount to a 6"x6" post?

Three mount holes. Two horizontal and and one vertical. Center to center for the two horizontal mount holes is about 2 3/4 inches. Should mount on a 5 1/2 no problems. You will have a little less than 1 1/2 inch on each side to work with.
