Will this fit the Lenovo Flex 5 chromebook, 13.3 ?

I think so but not sure. Good thing is you can still return it. But I think it should because it’s the same dimensions.

It covers the bottom of the laptop, won’t the laptop overheat?

I can only speak for the Galaxy Book S. There are no fans, no vents, nothing to cool down. It is more like a suped up tablet that runs windows. It has no cooling ability because it has no hardware that would require it. It's much more like your cell phone. The only point of heat is typically around the battery while charging. So no, this wouldn't cause these little laptops to overheat as they are not like your typical laptop.
