Q: can i use my echo with this device

Just received mine in May 2018. It works with Echo, you just need to enable the Rain Bird "skill" in Echo via the Echo/Alexa app

Q: How do i find out if my ESP-ME is compatible? Mine has a remote accessory 5-pin slot, but datecode says: 21 JL 15-01. is this compatible?

It would have to be manufactured after Nov 2016 and it would have a WiFi Logo on the front panel. Although yours has the 5 pin slot, it will not recognise the WiFI module.Thank you

Q: If you had this, would you need the rain/freeze sensor?

It would still be a good idea to have a rain/freeze sensor on your system for the best performance. The LNK-WIFI will get weather information from a local weather station and can adjust the irrigation run times based on the weather data it receives. It does not have the ability to shut down your irrigation completely when it rains, however, which is the purpose of the WR2RFC rain/freeze sensor. Using both gives you the best weather controlled irrigation system.

Q: Our landscape company replaced our controller and we cannot access program C using the module. Is the module defective or the controller?

Program C is associated with the controller not the module so i would say the controller but it could be something in the programming. You can contact our tech department for more assistance if needed.
