I bought this radio cassette player with the intention of returning it if it was not high quality given the very modest price. To my surprise, I have not stopped listening to all my old cassettes because the sound is unbeatable. It must have a built-in Dolby noise reduction because there is no hiss sound for any of my cassettes. The quality of the player itself is solid and the sound is perfect for listening to it all day long. There is no distortion of the sound. A definite buy at this price point. You will not find a better one.

Great little cassette player.

I was in need of a good (new) cassette player to play all my (old) cassettes on. Before I bought this player, I only had an OLD, used, primitive cassette "recorder" to play back my cassettes on -- it looked like it was from the !970s (a garage sale purchase, I admit), and was probably mainly intended for recording, not listening. So I went on Amazon, shopped around and looked at a few different choices, and found that this one was the best deal (I picked the white one instead of the black one -- because it was five dollars cheaper. I wasn't picky about the color -- I just wanted something I could listen to). I've never heard of this brand before, but I am well-pleased with the quality -- and the radio works fine, too.

Very nice to cover old school tapes.

This is perfect for playing the old family conversational tapes we found in a closet. It's made well and works perfectly. And the price is reasonable. Very pleased.

I liked the size of this item. For what it was needed, but the cassette part was not working properly. It was working like in a slow motion movement:(

This is an easy to use, lightweight, portable boom box. It's a good value and so compact. I wanted a cassette player after my old one broke. If you have a few tapes, it's worth picking up one of these so you can still play them. It's nice looking and works well. Buttons easy to operate and nice to have the option to use with electricity at home or batteries on the go. It gets surprisingly decent reception and has good sound for such a small device.
