I was searching for a Chinese dance fan with medium length veil. Searched high and low and couldn't find one. This fan caught my eye with its low price. I thought I'd give it a try. I was planning on cutting off the extra length because it really more than I needed. It arrived pretty quickly and I was very happy with the vibrant color and sturdy build. It's a little bit heavy, hence the 1 less star. Other than that, it's a very nice fan. After shaking it, waving it, and spinning with it, it held up very well. I might just keep it the way it is.

This seller should be ashamed, there’s poor quality and then there’s this mess! It looks like something a 4 year old made, I understand that for the price we can’t expect too much but this was just done so carelessly that don’t even deserve any star

This fan is light and the fabric flows nicely, but that’s all the positives I have.It doesn’t open easily, it feels cheap (because it is), it looks like it was hemmed then un-hemmed because every edge has holes and is frayed, for some reason it has two layers of fabric of different lengths, the fan bones are damaged and splintering, and there are purple sequins glued on which don’t match and look tacky.So unless you are performing for an audience that is far away and can’t notice these details or just looking for a practice fan that you’re fine with getting messed up I don’t recommend this.

I returned 2 of these in the exact same package after seeing how poor the quality is I sent them BOTH back. Seller reported only ONE of them came back and charged my account. I have never been scammed before on this site, but Amazon made it right and filed a report on this company! But do not purchase these!!! Original review below.The quality is very poor, it’s not comfortable in your hand whatsoever and it is hard to hold. Lots of loose strings and torn fabric. As a dancer I recommend you save your money and purchase another higher quality silk. Five minutes after I open these I filed for a return.

I think it is an excellent product for the price. There is some fraying to the fabric but it is perfect for dance and super attractive colors. I was hoping to find something that looked like flames. Examining the wooden body of the fan it looked strong enough to hold up for our elementary music program. Much cheaper than trying to fashion this dance prop by hand. Colors are stunning.
