Q: will this work in a Parker 45 ?

All Parker pens have the same fitting I believe, so it should fit. When filling, the trick is to make sure that the converter is properly fixed and ot just "resting". Push firmly, but do not force. When filling, leave the nib in the ink for 10 seconds after the "slider" has been pulled back to the end. Parker now put a ball bearing in the converter to make sure that the ink does not dry out. I wrote and told them this 40 years ago and about 10 years ago, they finally took me seriously! Hope this helps, regards, Alex

No, it will not fit Lamy fountain pens. You would need a Lamy Z24 or Z26 ink converter for Lamy pens. Parker converter only suitable for Parker fountain pens.

Apologies for the delay in responding. From memory it struck me that it was a twist action but I have not used this pen in a long time so I had to find it and check for sure. I can confirm that it is NOT a piston action but a normal twist action converter. They are quite good though: functional, and efficient. With best regards, Mick
