I love this rucksack - until it fell apart
This is a well designed and versatile thin backpack. It holds more than you think, while remaining a very tight package. Great for the discardian.EDIT : The shoulder strap fell apart after a month of very light use. Seems to be a design flaw with the type of fabric and the stitching. This is a great bag and I'm returning it with a heavy heart. This isn't what I expect from a £78 bag!EDIT 2 : OK, a new bag was sent out, and the fabric inside is slightly different (i.e. a new batch). This time all appears well. I've used it for around two months and none of the stitching has come apart. Happy to return this to a five star review. This is a great design if you want a very slim rucksack for just your laptop and essentials. 2 stars back to 5 stars.

Best laptop backpack I've ever owned
This backpack is amazing!!! The protection for your laptop is solid, there is a compartment for your tablet as well. The front zip has grid-it, which is basically loads of elasticated straps that you can use to store your peripherals. The backpack itself is compact and great for me as I wanted something minimal. If you carry loads of things in your backpack this may not be for you. If you want a classy backpack that can store your laptop, tablet, cables, and chargers then this is one of the best I've seen. Love it!

Best bag I've ever bought
I'm not a super organised person and the type of person whose bag is a bag of clutter. I'd have to search through it for a few minutes to find what I need – in this case I see it instantly. It's also made me much more aware of what I need to take around with me and chucked a lot of what I didn't out of the bag. I can only fit a laptop and a couple of books/notebooks in the main section of the bag – which means I'm not packing spare clothes etc in there but also travelling more lightweight.

Good design, not great quality
Love the bag for taking my laptop to and from work but the shoulder material came apart at the seem after 2 weeks

Poor build quality lets an otherwise good bag down.
One of the shoulder straps started coming apart within a couple of months. Now bad enough I’m going to have to get a new bag. From what I read this is a fault present since 2015, so I don’t expect it to change if I went for a replacement. Not worth the hassle.Shame as otherwise the bag suits me very well. Fits a 15in MBP, 12.9 in iPad Pro, bunch of cables and sometimes a small lunch box.The search continues...

Fantastic idea, questionable build quality. Second revision closer, but no cigar.
I first found this bag in 2014 and immediately ordered one from the Apple Store. It worked fantastically well for a few months but then the waterproof strips around zips started to chip. To my own great annoyance I then had another ordered and that one had the zip loose so it became very tedious to open or close the bag. I then ordered a third one in April 2016 and found that the product has been revised with a smaller Grid-It area and a thicker margin around it. The waterproof zips in this revision do not seem to break. However, after another few international trips, I had to write to Cocoon again because the seam on one of the straps had broke. To Cocoon’s credit a replacement was very graciously arranged, free of charge.I have gone through many, many replacements of this backpack and am overall very satisfied with the idea. I am able to organise at least the following items in one backpack and this backpack fits under every single airplane seat I have ever attempted to fit it under.15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina DisplayiPad Pro with Smart Keyboard85W MagSafe AdapterAU / UK / EU plug adaptersExternal DriveHeadphonesAssorted Pens and PencilsGigabit (Thunderbolt) and Megabit (USB) Ethernet AdaptersLightning Connectors29W USB C AdapterUSB C to Lightning Cable (2m)Retractable Ethernet CableAssorted shorter cables…I feel that the backpack itself does pay for itself in terms of time and mental effort saved. That said, I am still quite dissatisfied with how the idea was executed. It seems to me that the product was designed for power users, but was not really tested to the same level of rigour expected by real power users who may travel on a weekly or even daily basis, while at the same time carrying around a lot gear with them.I would have gladly spent £500 or even double that amount for a backpack that stays together in one piece for a long period of time, instead of having to order a new one (or ask for a replacement, which is certainly not sustainable) every few months.

Does what it needs to do....highly recommend.
Bought this to organise my bits for a daily commute and carry my MacBook Air 11inch (room for a 13" easily) plus Bluetooth headphones. I was dubious at first after reading some of the reviews regarding the strap but after writing to the manufacturer who informed me that the original issues have been addressed and solved. (just to state they didn't send me a free pack). I can easily store all my electrical bits in the Grid-it system, MacBook power adaptor, power bank for my phone, cables etc. In the main compartment itself my Macbook , plus headphones and my lunch box. the profile is slim so if you carrying much more, then not the pack for you but for a light daily carry its ideal and I can confirm fully waterproof.

DON'T BUY
Dont buy, I use this bag for college but about a week after use the straps began to become loos and the threading become detached. I had to stitch up the strap since the threading had become lose on that, until about a month of use which the bottom part of the strap where you lose the straps completely broke off so I couldn't use it, and I couldn't sew it up properly because a piece went missing from the strap. I have tried to sew the strap back on without the missing piece but its very high on my back now and isn't comfortable. I would like a refund or something but I cant since I went past the refund date.PS A day after I posted this, the second strap snapped off and the stitching on the first strap also came off so now the bag cant be worn since both straps are broke.
