I used this on a favourite piece of silver-effect costume jewellery. The silver-effect had worn off in places, exposing the brass base metal. It looked too shabby to wear. This product freshened it up nicely and the necklace is back in use. I have no idea how long it will last, but it would be no hardship to repolish it every now again. Very little product was needed, so a small container will last a long time.Note: I tried it on another piece without success - presumably because the base metal was not brass.

I wanted to love this but it doesn’t work effectively. It just leaves you with a dull grey finish after many coats, not a Silver shiny finish.. The bottle that arrived was £19.99 for 50 ml - a tiny bottle… but it’s also being sold for £20.99 for a 100 ml bottle from the same seller. Really disappointed and very expensive

I have written a review but not uploaded a photo so this is to add to that review. I had wrecked this silver ring whilst trying to clean it inappropriately and it went totally black. This is the result using nushine which I am delighted with It was easy to use, very quick and thrilled with the result. I love this ring and was very upset when I thought I’d ruined it. It’s now back to its former glory.I also used it on my steel watch strap which has cleaned up well and lost all its black look. Definitely recommend.

I was very hopeful that this would repair a silver plated trophy from the 1970’sHowever it sort of worked but even after several coats it still didn’t do the jobMy advice try another product

I followed all instructions and on the first go I thought this was an absolutely brilliant product! Unfortunately for me (I used it on a pair of silver plated earrings) it just seems to come off as soon as they are touched or picked up. As I say finish was good but I wouldn’t recommend it unless you were doing an item which is then not handled at all. Obviously easier said than done with earrings! I did try layering a few coats to see if that did the trick but that didn’t work either. To keep them pristine I’d have to repeat the process before every wear which clearly isn’t practical! Never mind!

Did what it said on the bottle. Restored my silver charm bracelet.
