Which side of these seals face up, the wide side or thin side? They seem to be too thick to completely screw the lid on.

The side with the groove should make contact with the mug. Gently align in place then screw on lid tightly to push it down into place. These have worked well in our snapseal contour lids, they don’t work in auto seal lids.
