I bought this in lieu of taking my son‘s heavier coat on a two week cold weather trip. It packs down so small, but still held a lot of warmth. He loved the camouflage color pattern, and I loved the quality. It was in an expensive purchase, but highly helpful when needing to have something That would not take up as much room in our luggage.

Very nice and great quality. My grandson will be 4yrs old this Sept. I purchased a XS (Boys 4-5) because he's tall for his age. Its a tiny bit big, but nothing that looks odd.Keep in mind this is a very lightweight puffer coat.

I'm so impressed with Amazon Essentials kids puffer jackets. They're a perfect layer for our mild winters and can be paired with a fleece for more warmth if needed. They're durable and wash well. So far the zippers haven't gotten stuck and I appreciate that it comes with a little nylon pouch for packing. The green is a rich emerald shade and the sticking appears to be good quality.

I am a 5' 1" woman at 108 lbs. I don't typically buy boys clothes, but have had good luck with a few items, so thought I would take a chance on this puffy jacket as the color I chose was being sold at a discount ($27). The overall length and sleeves are long on me, so the fit is like a parka, more functional than stylish. I choose the XXL size which is correct as the XL would likely be too narrow in the hip. Inside, the material is smooth, and the seams are well-finished. The outside hand warmer pockets are nice and deep, the inside pockets are large and a great addition. The cuffs and hood are loose-fitting with almost no elastic stretch, it could use a drawstring closure, but that's not included. Except for a raincoat, I don't have another favorite jacket in my closet, so for now this will likely become my primary jacket during the winter and my go-to jacket when I travel.

Very cute coat. Can be squished easily into diapers bags or put back into the carry bag for storage! Love the fit and color for my little girl!

This little coat worked so well for us all winter. It was warm enough for travel in cold midwestern winters but light enough I felt comfortable with him in his car seat. I wouldn't use it in super wet snow or frigid temps for extended time. Washes well. Very handy that it has a hood.

I really like this jacket. We live in Wisconsin where it gets really cold out and I refuse to keep a bulky coat on my toddler when going somewhere in the car because of car seat safety. So, beginning of winter, I'd get him into the car, bulky coat off, buckled, then whenever we arrived to our destination, coat on, rinse & repeat. (we do use the bulky coat when just playing outside)With this jacket, I can put him into a fleece sweater then this jacket over and it's not bulky, thick, etc and it's so much safer, I don't have to worry about compression and the car seat harness not protecting him if we were to get into a car accident.My son just turned 4 days ago, and he's a size 5-6 so I ordered an XS and it fits perfectly!
