Perfect for a sausage
We bought these stairs for our miniature dachshund to be able to get up onto the bed, and he loves them, we have put a screw into the edge of each step as we found the tops moved quite a bit when he was coming up them, and we have no intentions of using them for storage, so have secured them down, and they are perfect!! Being wood and carpeted, they have a lovely finish, and fit into the home nicely.

Incorrect measurements
Beware! the measurements are incorrect, mine were 38cm high when fully assembled. Having said that these are great, looks good with the nice carpet on each step. My dogs are small and with these steps they cant get on and off the bed, so I'm going to make a 15cm base out of pine with a carpet top to place these steps onto. Only then will the be high enough to reach the bed. These are only suitable out thebox for smaller beds.

It is dangerous and not secure as all steps move and gaps can trap paws
The media could not be loaded. I am very disappointed in this Trixie 3 step as the workmanship is extremely poor and this evening I put it together going by the instructions and every step moves and got different size chihuahuas to try the steps and little coco’s paw goes through the gap which could potentially break her paw or her leg as you can see the huge gaps and steps moving how is this a safe product ?

Solid
I think it is a great idea easy to build and good and solid, only good for a dog going on to a couch not high enough for a bed. BUT my dog has other Ideas she will not go near it and refuses to use it at 11 years old ( teach an old dog new tricks !!! ) how true.

Has improved my back immensely.
Got these for my rather plump (yea ok fat) sausage dog cross scottie. With 3" legs he has a problem getting on the bed, the problem being he does my back in lifting him up cos he's such a lump. So a friend recommended these steps, they said the plastic ones don't last long and that the wooden ones are so much stronger. They arrived pretty fast, and I put them together in about 15 minutes. The only thing i would say is the treads arent fixed and as the dog goes up or down they rattle and sometimes come off, which puts him off using them, so I just put a screw in each side to hold the treads in place permanently and that fixed the problem. The top tread I didn't fix permanently because inside the steps is handy to keep things. So now my plumpshuss can go up and down the steps to bed. He uses them every morning to get off the bed instead of launching himself like an elephant seal off a rock which always worried me incase he damaged his back, but going up I'm still trying to entice him as he prefers to be lifted up and needs a lot of coaxing to even think about it.For dogs with longer legs, which is probably the rest of the dog kingdom, they'd have no problem going up, but my poor little stumpy beast's belly catches on the treads a bit and he's not keen on that. The only other solution rather than lift him up is to get a quote from Stannah Stairlifts. LOL Well I thought it was funny!

Perfect for my mini daxie!!!
These stairs are sturdy and look nice, they are absolutely perfect. Assembly is child's play - literally in my case.

Just the job!
I ordered these on Wednesday and received Thursday less than 24vhours, even though it stated not eligible for Amazon Prime! They were easy to build we did use no-nails to seal the base and the back. We needed them for the outside bench as both dogs love to lay there in the sunshine and the eldest has arthritis they are the perfect size. Everything fit together perfectly there were no gaps anywhere as per other reviews. I have included a photo, both dogs are lhasa apsos.
