It just is the best water colour brush and Amazons price was the cheapest l believe

The best brush you can buy and never fails to provide the perfect lines and strokes! Highly recommended, as I am still using Winsor & Newton series 7 brushes from the 1980's

I have several series 7 brushes and purchased this to replace a size 4 which after many uses is now coming to an end.This brush arrived with a plastic cover over the point, and was presented in a clear tube, but it has got to be the worst brush I have purchased, the hairs split in two as soon as it touches the paper, impossible to bring it to a point which makes it pretty useless as I use size 4 for detail.I don't know how it got passed by W & N but as the packaging had not been tampered with the fault must be at their end.This brush was expensive and unfortunately not fit for any purpose.I am going to contact Amazon customer service to see whether they will exchange or refund.

Stable brushes clean easy

I don't like it. It does not keep the bristles packed enough so it does not hold the paint well. I was very surprised because from this brand I executed higher quality and performance. I am sorry to say I would not invest money on this again,

Lovely fine points for botanical art. Hold enough but not too much water for smooth effect. Comfortable to hold. Very pleased!

Excellent quality, dont hesitate, your painting is worth it

This is NOT a good brush. It separates and I am not happy. About as unimpressed as it is possible to be!

I was skeptic and then I tried this brush! So good! Great point and holds a lot of ink or watercolor. Makes very good lines. Great for painting and inking.

This is a pricy but worth it pen. The tip has been reliable and the brush holds an amazing amount of fluid for its teeny size. I understand the weasels who have the best hair for this use are getting more rare (or so I've heard) and that explains the price. I would encourage anyone who would like to undertake painting (watercolor painting especially) to start off with the best brushes, paints, and paper on the market. Cheap products produce unhappy results.

The Windsor Newton series 7 are my favorite Brushes. These brushes have a great point for details, and they hold the perfect amount of water.
