It works, but your dog will likely have a different opinion
We have two dogs. The "main" dog is a Black Mouth Cur, and the "emergency backup" dog is a Corgi. The BMC is smart and a bit aggressive with strangers, hence we prefer to muzzle him when we have guests. The Corgi is as short on brains as he is on legs, but he is very friendly. The previous muzzle became a problem because it was a hard rubber device which prompted the Corgi to pull it off the BMC every time. I guess he thought it was a toy. Of course the BMC facilitated this because he really hated being muzzled. It eventually got chewed up and damaged. This muzzle is NOT hard rubber. It is a softer and flexible fabric. It appears to be ruggedly built while still soft and comfortable. The BMC doesn't mind it quite as much as the old one, therefore is a bit less cooperative with the efforts of the Corgi to remove it. But if he is successful anyway, he is not as inclined to chew it up.Overall, this muzzle is not perfect, but I don't think any muzzle is. The design is good, the ease of use and removal is good, and it is a decent value. Four stars!

Puppy destroyed in 10 mins
PRODUCT/THOUGHTS:Received the XS for our 9-month-old Aussie who has a problem with barking at people and other dogs. The muzzle looks almost as shown in the listing, but the sides are Navy Blue, not purple. The front looks to be made of a plastic mesh. The straps are thin, almost a gift ribbon thickness, and the buckles are made of a very thin plastic. We put this on our pup who was barking non-stop and made sure everything was tight. Within ten minutes, she bit through and ripped not only the straps, but bit in half one of the buckles. This muzzle is not made with quality ingredients, and I would not recommend wasting your money.

Pretty good muzzle
Too big for my Australian shepherd, so I didn’t really get to test the quality, but it did seem thinner than expected and the adjustment seemed like it was not staying in the same location so it would loosen up while in use. Again, might just be due to it being too big for my dog.

Works for what I need it for
I got the small, based off the measurements they’ve provided. I had to put this on the smallest setting and while it fits on the smallest setting the middle strap lays slanted because of that. Any other dog that would probably drive them crazy but my dog did well which is to be expected because she’s really chill. She’s had an issue with eating things on our walks around the neighborhood so I wanted to have her wear a muzzle to prevent that after I caught her with a chicken bone.

Comfortable for long time travel
The soft mesh texture provides good comfort compared to traditional metal cage muzzles, making it an ideal option for extended wearing during travel, especially on public transportation. It allows dogs to pant drink while preventing unwanted chewing. The adjustable straps ensures a gentle but still secure fit, and the lightweight, breathable feature keeps dogs comfortable. An ideal choice for responsible pet owners on travel with dogs

Helpful Muzzle for Vet Visits and Safety
I have an older dog with arthritis and other health issues, and it’s becoming harder to pick him up or handle him without causing him pain. Unfortunately, the few times we’ve accidentally touched a sore spot, he has snapped at us—luckily, not breaking the skin.We bought this muzzle as a precaution for vet visits and similar situations. I was a little worried about the fit, but it ended up fitting him very well. He doesn’t love it, but I’ve been training him to get used to it by offering treats. He seems fine with the straps that go around the back of his head and the muzzle itself, but the strap that runs over the top of his head and loops in the back seems to bother him the most.I wouldn’t use this on a daily basis, but for the occasional situation where we need a little extra safety, it works well.
