Q: Is hot water not required if it's used in a toilet?

If the toilet bowl itself is not clogged then no hot water is required. But if the bowl itself has a clog the hot water may be helpful in breaking down the clog after allowing the Green Gobbler work for several hours. Thanks!

There are differences. The Main Line Drain Opener is a more concentrated & stronger product. It is industrial strength yet safe for all pipes & drain systems & its thick, high-density formula sinks through water and clings to pipes to liquify tough drain obstructions & specifically clears the main line to and from your home as well as your other drains. The two bottle pack of Dissolve is a safe & effective liquid cleaner for use in toilets & interior drains. It sinks through standing water and sticks to clogs until the material has dissolved. Dissolve also comes in gallon sizes. The other Green Gobbler drain cleaners also tackle other types of drain issues.

Q: Is it safe for clearing a blocked RV gray water holding tank which is all plastic lines, tank etc?

I have not used it in an RV, but it works great in a septic system of our house.

Q: Which works better for slow/clogged bathtub drains? green gobbler ultimate, or green gobbler dissolve?

Ultimate- the dissolve hardly worked at all. What did work was pouring half of the bottle of Ultimate, letting it sit overnight, then poured boiling water to flush. Chronic slow drain problem gone!

Exciting product

Really got excited with this product.. had a clog for the past 6-8 months .. Tried many ways and finally this. Applied overnite, tried a flush in the morning but was not satisfied. But after a couple of hours, to our surprise the clog got removed completly..
