I picked up baking as a new hobby last year and this was my first yeast. It is almost 1 year. I've stored it in fridge. Used it yesterday. It is still active and good. Gives very good rise. I'm not sure if any other yeast would give different smell or taste. But I'm satisfied with this product.

Inactive yeast
Inactive yeast...the picture shows the yeast after 5 hours of testing with warm milk and sugar.i had tried two times.i think received dead yeast. worst product.
